School Board has moved its next meeting to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, to vote again on whether or not the board will renew the contract for Superintendent Michele McClung.     Saturday will be a day to meet at the junction as the Flomaton Area Chamber of Commerce kicks off its annual Railroad Junction Day in downtown Flomaton.     The Century Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to appoint Henry Cunningham as Seat 2 interim council member after a split vote knocked nominee Eddie Hammond out of the running.     Jay’s residents will pay an average of 3 percent more this year in property taxes after the Jay Town Council approved both the rolled-back millage rate and the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-2024 budget at its meeting Monday night. The town of Jay’s gross taxable value for operating purposes has been certified at $54,183,005.
