The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was the first on the scene shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday to find a home at 3731 Old Foshee Road fully involved in flames. Multiple fire departments worked more than an hour to extinguish the flames. No injuries or the cause of the fire were reported. The American Red Cross was called to the scene to aid the family.
