As communities and citizens observe the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for diminishing the spread of the Coronavirus through social distancing and various closings, school systems and municipalities are continuing programs and using resources to ensure children and others who depend on free or reduced meals continue to receive them during this time. Escambia County School Systems in Alabama and Florida as well as the Century Mayor Henry Hawkins and Concerned Citizens of Century are providing meals free.
