Century man arrested as habitual offender

A Century man caught driving with a suspended license faces a felony charge as a habitual offender following a traffic stop that revealed his license had been suspended or 60 months.

Christopher Terrill Carter, 42, was arrested Aug. 30 when a deputy performed a traffic stop for speeding on a 2009 Chevrolet Impala on Old Flomaton Highway in the area of Lake Street, according to an Escambia County Sheriff's Office report.
