    Edward Russell Dubose will spend at least another five years in prison after the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Parole denied the Brewton resident's parole from a life sentence for the kidnapping, rape, sodomy and murder of 16-year old Stephanie King in 1988. Dubose was convicted of capital murder for the 1990 death of King, 16, and was sentenced to death.     Shannon Dean Barlow was 15-years old when he murdered his stepmother Kathy Victory Hall Barlow, 40, and his stepsister Angel Hall, 12, on Oct. 10, 1993 inside their Nokomis home. Barlow pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison.     On Tuesday, June 29, officials from the Atmore Community Hospital and Escambia County Health Care Authority (ECHCA) gathered to break ground on a new urgent care clinic on Highway 21 across from Wind Creek Casino in Atmore. The facility is slotted to open in March 2022 and will offer non emergent need and increased access to healthcare for the city of Atmore and surrounding communities.
