    A traffic stop by Flomaton police on March 16 led to the arrest of three people on drug charges after officers discovered illegal drugs and paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Joe Seaphers Rabon, 66, 68 Buffington Court Castleberry, Jonathon Darroll Rabon, 40, Mize Road, Flomaton, and Angela Denise Salter, 60, Mize Road, were arrested and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.   • Flomaton man killed in crash

    A Flomaton man died and a Flomaton woman was airlifted from the scene of a fiery crash early Friday morning on Old Atmore Road near the intersection of Tulip Road. Jacob Maulden, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene after being trapped inside the burning vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Emily Taylor, 21, was flown by helicopter to Sacred Heart Hospital and later released.     All three Jay maintenance employees got a raise following approval at last Monday night's council meeting of a certification point progression spreadsheet. Employee Tony Howard got a $2 raise, Trent Flowers got $1 raise and Rocky Witt got a $3 raise, based on special certifications they hold.
