    The fifth time proved to be the charm for the Jay High School girls softball team defeated Fort White 6-5 last Wednesday in Clermont, Fla., in the 1A state championship, handing the Lady Royals their first state title.     The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) was informed via self-reporting that one staff member at Holman Correctional Facility out of ten staff members around the state have tested positive for COVID-19 as of 12 p.m. on Friday, August 7.
