Virgina B. “Gennie” Hertenstein, 59, of Flomaton, died Monday, March 23, 2020, in a Pensacola hospital.

Mrs. Hertenstein was born Oct. 30, 1960, in Laurel, Miss., and had been a lifelong resident of Flomaton. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Century.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 26, at Sardis Cemetery in the Wawbeek community. Burial followed with Craver's Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Hertenstein is survived by her husband, Arthur “Artie” Bell of Flomaton; two daughters, Amanda (Joe) Wiley and Jessica Smith, both of Laverge, Tenn.; one s...
