A Brewton man being held in the Escambia County Detention Center who stole a correctional officer's pickup truck while working on a trash clean-up detail Tuesday was captured Wednesday morning in Pollard and transported back to jail.
Herbert Randal Adams, 28, 5917 Sardine Road, was found inside a residence at 1430 Selma St., about 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to Escambia County Sheriff Heath Jackson.
