Barbara Covan Wilson, 79, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Pensacola.
Mr. Wilson was a native and lifelong resident of Century who was a member of the Byrneville Methodist Church. She was a retired lunchroom manager at Northview High School, Century High School and Bratt Elementary School.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 31, at Byrneville Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Hawkins officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband of 63 years, James M. Wilson of Century; one daughter, Beth (Kevin) Beck of Lake Mary, Fla.; two sisters, Brenda (Tommy) Cushing of Pensacola and Diane Dennis of Wetumpka, Ala.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.s
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by one son, James Michael Wilson; three daughters, Sharon Denise Odom, Teresa Marie Jordan and Mary Kathryn Black; her parents, Fred and Ellen Covan; and one grandchild.
