Ruby Jean Long Wheeler, 87, of Brewton, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 in a Pensacola hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Wheeler was a native and life long resident of Brewton. A 1949 T.R. Miller HIgh School graduate, she was a retired clerk from the Medical Center and member of both the Twin Creek Cloggers and North Brewton Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the North Brewton Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Lindsey officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
