Escambia County (Ala.) Probate Judge Doug Agerton and Circuit Clerk John Robert Fountain have qualified to seek re-election in the June 5 Democratic Primary as qualifying opens for the local Democratic Party.
Democrats began qualifying Jan. 8 and can qualify for the election until Feb. 9.
Four Republicans have also qualified for the June 5 Republican Primary. Qualifying are: Fletcher 'Scottie' Stewart for county commission District 3; Heath Jackson for sheriff; Coleman Wallace for school board Seat 7; and Mike Edwards for school board Seat 3.
