Flomaton police signed warrants Wednesday for the arrest of two people accused of attempting to burglarize a home on Nov. 23.
Warrants were issued for the arrest of Kristalyn Hutcheson, 19, 1284 Nelson Road, Brewton, and Christian Grimes, 18, 1412 Dailey St., East Brewton. Both are charged with attempted burglary III.
According to police reports, officers were dispatched to a Rigby Lane residence in reference to the incident. When they arrived they talked with a 16-year old victim who told officers two people tried to break in by beating and kicking on the door. The suspects had left the scene by time officers arrived.
The investigation led to the two suspects, who Lt. Chance Thompson said later confessed to the incident.
