Milton man, cousin of the victim, charged with felony homicide after victim's body is found

A Milton man was arrested on felony homicide charges after his cousin was found dead under a golf cart at the cousin's Jay residence following a physical altercation between the two men.
Robert Patrick Jernigan, 53, was arrested July 20 for murder dangerous depraved without premeditation when deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office responded to the 1886 Schnoor Road in Jay June 19 in reference to a death investigation.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies located the victim, Stephen Lee Jernigan, 70, dead.
