Williams indicted for murder

His gun tied to shooting of state trooper is also gun used in earlier shooting in Albany, Ga.

The backseat passenger in the vehicle that resulted in an Alabama state trooper shot and the female driver dead has been indicted by an Escambia County (Ala.) grand jury on felony murder and attempted murder.

Johndarous Christon Williams, 21, of Georgia remains in the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton with no bond following the grand jury indictment.

Williams was in the back seat of a vehicle driven by Angel Thornton of Albany, Ga., who was shot and killed by State Trooper Jeremy Alford after she opened fire on Alford April 9.
