Lopez pleads on Alabama charge

Former Flomaton Police Officer Issac Lopez pleaded guilty to felony ethics charges Monday in Escambia County (Ala.) Circuit Court and still faces felony charges of trafficking methamphetamine in Escambia County, Fla., and misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in Flomaton Municipal Court.

Lopez was a Flomaton police officer when he was arrested in Pensacola on Dec. 7, 2020, for trafficking meth. He was immediately fired as a Flomaton police officer. Lopez was released from the Escambia County (Fla.) Jail on $100,500 bond. He was then charged in Escambia County (Al...
