Council eyes plans for park’s upgrade
The Jay Council got a look at the plans so far for the Bray-Hendricks Park master plan last Wednesday and made a few modifications that will save some money and utilize the space better.
Councilman Josh Holloway was not present.
The company doing the architectural designs of the buildings is STOA Architects out of Pensacola.
The plans for the main concession building in the middle of the park include a concrete foundation, brick veneer, a steep sloped metal roof that will last a long time and wood trusses that will be exposed in some places and concealed in others.
