Flowers selected new town clerk

Flomaton unanimously supports the hiring

Angela Flowers will become the new town clerk in Flomaton following a unanimous vote Monday afternoon by the Flomaton Town Council.

Flowers will replace Carrie Moore, who recently announced her resignation to take a position with the Escambia County (Ala.) Commission. Moore's resignation becomes effective May 1.

Flowers currently works as the bookkeeper and property clerk for the Escambia County Probate Office in Brewton.

She grew up in Castleberry and graduated from W.S. Neal High School in 1999 and attended Jefferson Davis Community College. She worked for Colonial Bank for five years and...
