Flowers selected new town clerk

Angela Flowers will become the new town clerk in Flomaton following a unanimous vote Monday afternoon by the Flomaton Town Council.

Flowers will replace Carrie Moore, who recently announced her resignation to take a position with the Escambia County (Ala.) Commission. Moore's resignation becomes effective May 1.

Flowers currently works as the bookkeeper and property clerk for the Escambia County Probate Office in Brewton.
