Former cop out on bond on meth trafficking charges, jailed for providing alcohol to a minor

Issac Lopez, a former Flomaton police officer who was fired in December, 2020, after being arrested in Escambia County, Fla., for trafficking methamphetamine and charged in Alabama for using his position for personal gain, is back behind bars facing new misdemeanor charges and had his $200,000 bond in Alabama revoked.

Lopez, 37, was originally arrested Dec. 7, 2020, in Florida on the trafficking charge in Pensacola. He was released on $100,500 bond in Florida and then jailed at the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton and issued a $200,000 bond on the ethics violation.
