County schools closed Friday

Due to expected freezing rain and ice accumulation on roads beginning tonight (Thursday) and into the morning Friday, the Escambia County (Ala.) School System has announced schools will be closed Friday, Jan. 21.
Escambia County Emergency Management Director David Adams said the National Weather Service in Mobile issued the possible hard freeze warning. Temperatures around 20 degrees are also expected Saturday and Sunday mornings.
