Flomaton and Jay to kickoff area parades
Flomaton and Jay will kickoff the area Christmas parades this Saturday, Dec. 4, with both parades beginning at 10 a.m.
Both parades will follow their normal routes with a small change in Flomaton. Flomaton's route will follow the same route as the homecoming parade, leaving from the high school and heading down College Street and turning on Dr. Van Avenue. The parade will make a loop around Ringold and Cary streets and include Palafox Street to the railroad tracks and back through town.
