Officers charge man with six counts of possessing illegal narcotics

A 23-year old man with addresses in Brewton and Birmingham was jailed on $100,000 bond on multiple drug charges that date back to 2020.

Da'Quain Markail Kiser, with addresses listed in court records as 1403 43rd St. West in Birmingham and 216 East Jackson St., in Brewton, was charged with attempting to elude, six counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana.

Documents show Kiser possessed crack cocaine, synthetic marijuana and marijuana on or about Dec. 18, 2020, near 21st Avenue in Atmore.

On June 21, 2021, Kiser was accused of possessing and distributing crack cocaine at a location near Liles Boulevard in Brewton.

On June 24, 2021, he was accused of possessing crack cocaine near 3170 Sowell Road, Brewton, and on June 15, 2020, he was accused of possession methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana and synthetic marijuana near South Boulevard in Brewton.
