Clean up event set
Brewton, E.B., county support Earth Day

The cities of Brewton and East Brewton, along with the Escambia County Commission are sponsoring events around today's official Earth Day with clean-up opportunities that include providing trash bags for citizens or groups to pick up litter along county rights-of-way.
The county commission is providing trash bags for individuals, groups and clubs to pick up trash along the road. Full bags can be left along the road and will be picked up. Commissioners said anyone needing bags can call them and also let them know where you will be picking up so they can arrange for the bags to be picked up....
