State, county, cities to get funds
Escambia County (Ala.) to get $7.1 million; all municipalities will get money from federal American Rescue Plan

The state of Alabama will receive a little more than $4 billion in the American Rescue Plan which was signed into law last week by President Biden with Escambia County (Ala.) receiving about $7.1 million and each municipality within the county also receiving funds.
According to information released by the Alabama League of Municipalities, Atmore will receive $1,688,271, Brewton will receive $965,838, East Brewton will receive $436,759, Flomaton will receive $258,237, Pollard will receive $25,212 and Riverview will receive $33,554.
