Escambia County (Ala.) School Superintendent John Knott announced Wednesday afternoon there will be no school for students on Thursday, Oct. 29. All teachers and staff are to report to work on a delayed start time of 9 a.m.. All after-school activities, including athletics and extended day, may resume Thursday with the principal's approval. Friday will be a normal school day.
