Delray Godwin Dewberry, 95, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in a Mobile hospital.
Mrs. Dewberry was born May 10, 1925, to John and Stella Godwin, and she lived in the Pineview community all of her life. A 1944 Flomaton High School graduate, she was a member of Pineview Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 10, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. James Peacock officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Dewberry is survived by one brother, Robert Godwin; two sisters, Juanita Parker and Delores Chiquita Baggett; two nieces, Sharon (Wayne) Lisenby and Susie (Buck) Smith; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Mrs. Dewberry was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Dewberry; her parents; and three sisters, Geneva Kraemer, Porcia Leah Pettis and Johnnie White.
