Marilyn Kay Sheehan Blackwell

Marilyn Kay Sheehan Blackwell, 75, of Brewton, died Sunday, June 28, 2020, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Blackwell was born Sept. 2, 1944, in Hubbard, Texas and relocated to Brewton in 1950, graduating from W.S. Neal High School in 1962. She was a homemaker with several hobbies and a member of Ridge Road baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, at Ridge Road Baptist Church with Bro. Kyle Cinerski officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her husband of 56 years, Billy Wayne Blackwell of Brewton; one son, Heath Blackwell of Brewton; one daughter, Kellie Blackwell Kennedy of Brewton; one sister, Barbara (Jim) Blosser of Brewton; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Lynn Sheehan and James Franklin Sheehan.
