The American Red Cross will be at Walmart, located at 3371 South Alabama Avenue, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 11 for blood donations. The American Red Cross has an urgent need for blood donations to prevent another blood shortage as hospitals resume surgical procedures and patient treatments that were temporarily paused earlier this spring in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
