Wallace Brown, 86, of Atmore, died Friday April 10, 2020 at Atmore Nursing Care Center.
Mr. Brown was a native of Uriah, Ala. Who lived most of his life in the Nokomis, community of Atmore. A member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church, he worked in the construction industry and was a farmer.
A private graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 13, at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dennis K. Stephens officiating. Burial followed with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
Mr. Brown is survived by three brothers, Hoover Brown of Atmore, Eugene Brown of Cleveland, Ohio and Carl (Frances) Brown of Pensacola; one sister, Vera Smallwood of Atmore; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Homer, Sr. and Vera Brown; and numerous siblings.
