Linda Kay Lucas Vaughn, 61, of Rock Creek, Ala., died Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
Mrs. Vaughn was born May 27, 1958, in Brewton, where she became a lifelong resident of Rock Creek. A member of the Rock Creek Apostolic Church, she was a 1976 graduate of W.S. Neal High School and a homemaker.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 29, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. David Earl Elliott officiating. Burial followed at Rock Creek Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by one son, Jeremy Douglas of Pensacola; one daughter, Denise Michelle (Richard) Walker of Pace, Fla.; two sisters, Joan (Hughdon) Holley of Baker, Fla. and Ann Presson of Rock Creek; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Mavis Booker Lucas; one brother, Rocky Lucas; and other extended family members.
