.A 52-year old Brewton man was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Cantonment, with officials saying his death was unrelated to the crash.

Darren Burns Downing, was pronounced dead following the 8:49 a.m. incident.

According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle crash on Crowndale Court.
