Paul D. Enfinger

Paul D. Enfinger, 81, of Davisville, Fla., died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, in Pensacola, Fla.

Mr. Enfinger was born Sept. 14, 1938, to A.V. and Daisy Smith in Dale County, Ala. He worked during his life in many jobs, such as a lifeguard, a disc jockey named 'Perky Paul', owner of Enfinger Plumbing Company, worker at Vogtle Nuclear Plant, a school bus driver, a prison guard, a soldier in the U.S. Army and as a farmer. A minister for more than 45 years, he was a missionary who pastored five churches during his life and founded Calvary Deliverance Temple in Davisville, Fla., where he pastored for more than 35 years.

The funeral was held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, at Calvary Deliverance Temple in Davisville with Bro. Wendell Hadley and Bro. Floyd Hutto officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Enfinger is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sheila McZilkey Enfinger of Davisville, Fla.; two sons, Brian Enfinger of Little Rock, Ala. and Doug Jordan of Dothan, Ala.; one daughter, Gwen Enfinger of Little Rock; one sister, Jewel Myers of Panama City, Fla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.

Mr. Enfinger was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill Enfinger and Gary Enfinger; and one sister, Ruth Ellis.
