Morgan to bring Gospel dogs to Brewton

Johnny Morgan's Obedience 2 Death Ministries will be using dogs to teach the gospel at the 29th annual Outdoor Outreach at First Baptist Church Brewton Saturday, Feb. 22. The event, which includes Morgan's dogs, is free to the public and includes a meal and door prizes that include men's and women's guns, other items and the grand prize of a golf cart.

Children's events will begin at 3 p.m. with archery and cast throwing. The meal will be served at 5 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m.

Dr. Jimmy Atkinson said the Outdoor Outreach program was started by John Finklea and has become an outstanding outreach for hunters and fishermen.

Obedience 2 Death Ministries is nothing more than the sharing of a series of simple, obvious, but often overlooked truths through the unique use of Labrador Retrievers. Truths that come from the word of God and truths that have the absolute power to alter the direction of all who will hear, believe and apply them to their life.

"It will be an amazing thing to watch," Dr. Atkinson said.
