Ada Laverne Mitchell Burch Crawford, 92, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.
Mrs. Crawford was born April 2, 1927, in Escambia County, Fla. She lived in Miami, Fla., Mobile, Ala. and Knoxville, Tenn. She and her husband retired in 1982 to Tobacco Branch Village in Graham County, N.C. and later moved to the Bryson City area and was a member of Saw Mill Hill Free Will Baptist Church, where her husband pastored for 8 years. She later resided in Mobile and Bryson City and visited family in Seattle, Wash. and Ohio, and was a talented artist.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Weaver Cemetery in the Appleton Community with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by two grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends.
Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by two husbands, T.L.Burch and F.M. Crawford; one son, Tommy L. Burch; two brothers, T.C. Mitchell and V.V. (Mitch) Mitchell; one sister, Ruby Mitchell Burch.
