Edna Laura Hendrieth Jones, 81, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020.
Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 8, 1938, to Arthur and Clara Hendrieth, Sr., in Brewton, Ala. After she attended Piney Grove Elementary School, she completed her education at Southern Normal High School. She joined Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the gospel choir and with the Pine Grove MBC Gospel Chorus. She eventually resided at West Gate Village.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 17, at Greater Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Straughn officiating. Burial followed at Springhil...
