Roberta “Bobbi” Gilbert, 72, of Brewton, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Gilbert was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton who was former manager at Cedar Forest Apartments and of the Protestant faith.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 26, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral home with Rev. Patrick Carden officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Gilbert is survived by one son, Wayne (Choumpree) Curry of Circleville, Ohio; one daughter, Tina Marie Curry of Brewton; two sisters, Debbie Taylor of Arizona and Hilda Paulian of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death by her husband, George Gary Gilbert; one brother; and one sister.
