Herbie Eugene Evans, 59, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019, in Brewton.

Mr. Evans was born July 25, 1960, to James and Bobbie Evans, in Brewton, where he had been a lifelong resident. Of the Christian faith, he worked as a derrick hand on an oil rig for many years and owned and operated Evans Tree Service.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Hammac officiating. Burial followed at Hanberry Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
