Frank L. Scott, 91, of Brewton, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2019.

Mr. Scott was born July 14, 1928, to Franklin and Leila Scott, in Brewton, where he was a member of the 1946 T.R. Miller High School graduating class. Attending Birmingham Southern College and then graduating from Troy State University in 1952, he began his career as a pastor. For more than 43 years, he served Methodist churches as a pastor in the Alabama West Florida Conference in Andalusia, Ariton, Dothan, Camden, Evergreen, Blountstown (Fla.), Selma, Greenville, Montgomery, Prattville and Bay Minette.
