Kathy Lou Minuard, 61, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, in Castleberry, Ala.
Mrs. Minuard was born in Evergreen, Ala., and had been a resident of Castleberry for the past 35 years, coming from Brewton. A member of the 1976 W.S. Neal High School, she had worked as a receptionist in the medical records office at Brewton Medical Center and for the dental office of Dr. Reese Robinson. She had several hobbies, including painting.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, at Victory Christian Center with Bro. Andy Peavy officiating. Burial followed at Buffington Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Minuard is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lavon Minuard of Castleberry; one daughter, Kristy (Dwain) Ingram of Brewton; two brothers, David Cain of Milton and Don Cain of East Brewton; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Minuard was preceded in death by her parents, L.V. and Elsie Cain.
