James “Ed” Edward Howington, Jr., 59, of Brewton, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2019 after a brief illness.
Mr. Howington was born Feb. 12, 1060 in Escambia County, where he was a lifelong resident. I member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church, he was a former employee at the lab of Smurfit-Stone and enjoyed working with the Escambia County Auxillary Sheriff and Escambia County Rescue Department.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 23, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. James Aubrey Wilson officiating. Burial followed at Zion Hill Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial...
