The Escambia County (Ala.) Board of Education will host a free substitute personnel session beginning at 9 a.m., tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 13, at Atmore Central office, located at 501 S. Pensacola St. in Atmore.
Anyone who is currently on the substitute list for the school district and/or wish to become a teacher, teacher assistant, secretary, cafeteria worker, bus driver or custodian, they must attend this training before they can begin substituting for the 2019-2020 school year. No one will be allowed to substitute before attending one of these mandatory sessions. Each session will last approximately two hours.
