Nathan Wayne Morgan

Nathan Wayne Morgan, 87, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at the Brewton hospital.

Mr. Morgan was born April 1, 1932, in Loxley, Ala. and had been a lifelong resident of Brewton. A U.s. Navy and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he worked at Container Corp. of America for 37 years and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 25, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Blair officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver's Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of 63 years, Georgia Langley Morgan of Brewton; one son, Anthony (Veronica) Morgan of Brewton; one daughter, Angela (Michael) Burnham of Brewton; one brother, James Cleve Morgan of Byrneville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Lee and Myrtle Wright Morgan; two brothers, Jan Morgan and Lester Morgan; and two sisters, Telvis Reaves and Alene Green.
