Earlene Caraway Biggs

Earlene Caraway Biggs, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, in Century, Fla.

Mrs. Biggs was a native of Nokomis, Ala. who had resided in Atmore most of her life. A member of Atmore First Baptsit Church, she was a member of the Order of the Eastrn Star, where she served as Worthy Matron at McCoy Chapter #34 and the Escambia Squares.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, at the First Baptist Church of Atmore with Rev. Marcus Caraway and Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Biggs is survived by her husband of 60 years, James G. “Jim” Biggs of Bratt, Fla.; three daughters, Linda (Jimmy) Francia of Mobile, Sandra (Doug) Welch of Pineview, Ala. and Kathy (Ben) Seales of Birmingham; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Biggs was preceded in death by her parents, Alto and Lillie Caraway; and two brothers, Jesse Caraway and Eugene Caraway.
