Michael Fredrick Tyler, 67, of Brewton, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019.

Mr. Tyler was a longtime resident of Escambia County, Ala. Of the Baptist faith, he he retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service as a Technical Sergeant, Radar Specialist and Instructor. He was the fire chief of Appleton Volunteer Fire Department for more that 20 years and presiding President of the Escambia County Alabama Association of Fire Departments for 10 years.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Friday Oct. 25, at the First Baptist Church of Brewton. Burial followed at Weavers Cemetery with Williams Memo...
