Bessie Summerlin Walton, 64, of Flomaton, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Walton was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala. who attended the East Brewton Assembly of God Church. She attended North Brewton School and was a graduate of W.S. Neal High School and was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffery Scurlock officiating. Burial followed at Pollard Cemetery in Pollard, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
Mrs. Walton is survived by her husband, Dan H. Walton, Jr. of Flomaton; two daugh- ters, Rhonda (Gary) Hall of Brewton and Regina (Dave) Nolin of Flomaton; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Walton was preceded in death by his parents, Cinard and Bessie Lee Richburg Summerlin; one daughter, Ronica Deann Walton; and one brother, Charles Summerlin.
