Leonita Souza Muehle, 84, of Brewton, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Muehle was a native and former resident of The Azores Islands and former resident of Virginia, prior to moving to Brewton in 1978. Owner and operator of Dick and Tina's Grocery, she was a homemaker and member of the East Brewton First United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 26, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Damascus Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Muehle is survived by one son, Arnaldo Fagundes of Florida; one daughter, Marie (Steve) Sarles of Brewton; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Muehle was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Muehle; and one son, David A. Muehle.
