Harold Wilton Hanks died Wednesday, or Repton, August 7, 2019 in Repton.
Mr. Hanks was a lifelong resident of Repton and member of the Repton High School Class of 1958. After high school, he earned a degree in agriculture and school administration at Auburn University and served as principal of Repton High School and taught agriculture at both Lyeffion and Repton. He was a member of Springhill United Methodist Church.
The funeral was held at 6 p.m., Saturday, August 10, at Springhill United Methodist Church in Lenox. Burial followed at Springhill Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hanks is survived by one brother, Jerry (Marsha) Hanks of Dadeville, Ala.; one sister, Mary (Don) Huber of Huntsville, Ala.; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and other family members and friends.
Mr. Hanks was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ethel Sims Hanks.
