Thomas Lee Pittman

Thomas Lee Pittman, 83, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Chatom, Ala.

Mr. Pittman was a native of Milton, Fla. Who served in the U. S. Air Force, Army and for FEMA, retiring with more than 30 years of service to his country. Help to establish churches all over the U.S., including in the South Eastern United States, he served as a pastor at several churches, retiring from Halsell Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Halsell, Ala.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 14, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hutto, Bro. Glenn Sullivan, Bro. Ronald Rivers, Bro. Jimmie Butts and Bro. Ricky Bowen officiating. Burial followed at Moyeville Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eva Lou Bell Pitman of Chatom; two sons, Tommy Pittman, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla. and Donnie Pittman of Jackson, Ala.; three daughters, Eva Jane (Joe) King of Jacksonville, Rhonda Jo (Mike) Goldman of St. Stephens, Ala. and Sandi (Jimmy) Chancey of Grove Hill, Ala.; two brothers. Bobby (Blanche) Pittman of Pensacola and Ronnie Pittman of Milton; one sister, Isabelle Androw of Pensacola; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Gladys Pittman; two brothers, Jim Pittman and Billy Pittman; and one sister, Glenda McCraney.s
