Thelma Wiggins Holley

Thelma Wiggins Holley, 90, died Friday, July 5, 2019, in Bratt, Fla. after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Holley was born March 9, 1929, to Robert and Addie Wiggins in Bratt. A graduate of Ernest Ward High School, she moved to Pensacola in 1954, where she lived for 43 years. Working as a teacher's aide for years, in the Head Start Program, then at McMillan and Brentwood Elementary Schools. A former member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Pensacola, she retired in 1997 and returned to Bratt, where she became a member of Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Holley is survived by one son, Darrell Holley of Bratt; two sisters, Glyndal Robbins of Bratt and Jessie Wiggins of Pensacola; and numerous extended family members.

Mrs. Holley was preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Holley; six brothers, Robert James Wiggins, H.B. Wiggins, Rufus Wiggins, Henry Wiggins, Leon Wiggins, and M.L. “Buddy” Wiggins; four sisters, Bertha Wiggins, Dorothy Norris, Myra Brantley and Essie Coleman;s and other family members.
