Ronnie Morris, 58, died Saturday, June 15, 2019, in Jay, Fla.
Mr. Morris was a native of Jay and former resident of Bratt, Fla. who had resided in Jay for the past five years. Retired from Swift Lumber Company with 37 years of service, he enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m.,Thursday, June 20 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Chaplin Rev. Daniel Lay officiating. Burial followed at the Sardis Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Morris is survived by one daughter, Ariel Morris of Jay; one brother, Mason (Debra) Morris of Jay; one sister, Vivian Joiner of Jay; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Morris; his parents, Johnnie and Mary Morris; and two brothers, Alton Morris and Preston Morris.
